Story Saturday

FINALLY, Book 4 of the Italian Series will be released next week. SAY IT WITH FLOWERS tells the story of Benito Bottari. I'm already over halfway into Book 5 (the final book) so it shouldn't be too far behind. It's super special, just to tease you.

She sighed, the sound long, and returned her head to his shoulder. He held her there, and for one moment chose to pretend it was all right. For one moment.

And then the truth returned. She was engaged to someone else, and he had no place in it except to deliver the flowers.

His heart shoved into his throat.

Benito Bottari fell in love the moment Arabella Howland walked in the door of his florist shop. However, her pending nuptials stand in the way.

It seems happiness is forbidden him again, and he must watch another woman leave with someone else.

Until a warning spoken by her best friend tells him all is not as it seems. Arabella’s in grave danger, and it’s up to him to stop it.

The beautiful tale of a man’s deepest love for the right woman by best-selling author, SUZANNE D. WILLIAMS.

I finished writing two YA this week. They're your excerpts today. Enjoy!

“Go out with me,” he said.

“I’m crazy about you.”

She smiled and reached for his face, her fingertips dusting his jaw. His hand fell to a place between her shoulder blades.

“I’m crazy about you, too,” she said. “I don’t have to spend days with you to know how great you are.”

Stuck at the grocery store with no way to get home, September Blessing accepts the only help available – that of cute bag handler, James Davis. After all, he went to Ferris High, has a job, and seems nice.

But a day later, a string of unforeseen circumstances and the start of a horrible rumor tears their true love apart. It looks like the only way for them to be together will be by telling a little white lie.

However, lies have a way of multiplying, and soon, the fiction they’ve created threatens to split them up, once and for all.

A story about the power of telling the truth from best-selling young adult author, SUZANNE D. WILLIAMS.

He could do this. He could stand up on his own. For Arden because she needed him, and for once, he wouldn’t think of himself. A grunt expelled from his lips with his efforts, and upright, bobbling, he caught Arden’s eye.

“Gabriel …”

She stepped his way, but he waved her off.

“No. I’m going to do this.” He gripped the back of his chair, firming his stance. “I’m going to be the shoulder you can cry on,” he said. “Not the stupid boy in the chair.”

Gabriel Allen wants to die. After the loss of his leg, there seems to be no reason to move on.

Until he meets Arden Vargus. A glimpse at her private pain finally wakes him up to the hope standing right in front of him. Her.

Only problem is she doesn’t believe he cares for her or that anything she’s said applies to herself. And that might just be the one thing he needs to show her she’s wrong.

A tender short story by best-selling young adult author, SUZANNE D. WILLIAMS, of the healing power of love.
